Frequently Asked Questions

What levels do you teach?
We cater to all levels of Junior Cert & Leaving Cert Maths.
How long are the classes?
A standard class lasts for 55 minutes. Workshops and Exam Prep Sessions can range from 1–3 hours.
Do you offer in person classes?
Currently, all our lessons are online, allowing students to access high quality tutoring from anywhere
Do I have to pay by term?
No, we offer bundles of 5 and 10 classes so you do not need to commit to an entire term at one time.
What if we need to cancel the class?
Our cancellation policy requires at least 24 hoursʼ notice. With enough notice, weʼre happy to reschedule your class to a time that suits you. If less than 24 hoursʼ notice is given, the session will be charged in full.
What if I have questions outside of class hours?
Students are welcome to send questions to your tutor at any point and will either be answered in the next class or directly over message if possible.
Do I need special equipment or software?
Only a laptop/ tablet and a strong internet connection. All classes are delivered through Zoom which can be accessed from our link directly, no prior downloading required.
Will you be covering the chapters Iʼm doing in school?
- If you are doing 1 1 classes you have the flexibility of coordinating topics with the tutor if you have class tests coming up or are struggling with class content.
- Group classes have structured plans to ensure the course is covered but all classes are recorded so you will have access to it if weʼve already covered it by the time you see it in class
Do I have to answer questions directly in group classes?
Students will be encouraged throughout the class to give answers into the chat box but no student will ever be called upon directly to answer. We include quizzes and polls to ensure all students are being assessed but this will not be public for other students to see.
Do I get recordings/ notes sent to me?
- If you are doing 1 1 classes, these will not be recorded but you will have all of the notes used.
- Group classes are recorded and will be uploaded to our community platform along with the notes and resources for each class.
